A vehicle malfunction was the apparent cause of Wednesday afternoon’s truck fire on Interstate 35 near the Texas Travel Information Center in Gainesville. No injuries were reported. Officers worked the scene shortly after noon and extinguished the flames in front of traffic onlookers.
