Frank Buck Zoo director Susan Kleven displays this curious owl to attendees at last year’s Zoobilee. This year’s event,“Ballyhoo in the Zoo,” will be held Saturday, Oct. 6 beginning at 6:30 p.m. featuring a taste of north Texas with 10 restaurants, animals galore, live and silent auctions, music and dancing. Zoobilee is the main fundraiser for the Frank Buck Zoological Society with proceeds going to fund new animals and exhibits for the zoo.
