The First State Bank of Gainesville supports Chapter 744 of the Military Order of the Purple Heart of Cooke County in the organization’s annual fundraiser for college scholarships for direct descendents of Purple Heart recipients. The raffle tickets are for two-$500 First State Bank, His & Her “Just in Time for Christmas” gift cards. Only 100 tickets will be sold for $20 and the winner takes both. All proceeds go to scholarships. The drawing will be held on Nov. 11, Veterans Day. Pictured are Karen Cook, Marketing Director of the Bank and Fred Rosenbaum, Chapter Commander.
