Brooke Walterscheid was recognized at the State Fair of Texas 66th Annual Honor Awards Banquet Sept. 29 in the Chapparel Ballroom at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel. The 2012 Honor Awards Recipients included Texas FFA State Officers, Texas FCCLA State Officers and the Texas 4-H Council State Officers. Guest speaker was Kurtis Thomas of Dalhart, Texas, a former 2001-2002 Texas FFA State President. Brooke is currently serving as State Vice President of Competitive Events for Texas FCCLA and as Muenster FCCLA President. Brooke’s FCCLA advisor, Joni Sturm, also attended and accompanied her for the special evening.
