Members of the Gainesville High School Marching Band play for Gainesville Head Start students. The students learned about sound, instruments, parades and marching. Band director Taylor Kami explained what a marching band does and how they perform. In addition, each band member talked about his or her instrument and played briefly so the children could hear the various sounds. The band also played two songs for the children.
