Soon-to-be-elected Texas State Representative Drew Springer, right, visits with Dr. Emily Klement, the Dean of the North Central Texas College Bowie campus, at a special meet-and-greet held on the Gainesville campus last week. Springer met with college employees to discuss issues facing higher education in the state. Springer won the Republican nomination in race for the District 68 seat in a summer primary runoff election and will not face an opponent in the November general election. Springer and Klement are both residents of Muenster.
