— This nilgai (milk cow) was one of many Frank Buck Zoo animals untroubled by the “white Christmas” freeze of Tuesday and Wednesday. Zoo staff said a majority of the animals on facility grounds require no special handling during winter weather; many of them have protective fur suitable for freezing days, and their cages include shelters that wall them safely from rain and cold winds.
