Najera - Gray Engagement


Roy Allen and Tammie Gray would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sandra Kaley Gray of Gainesville, to Joel Luis Najera of San Angelo, son of Maria Vasquez.

Grandparents of the couple include Mr. and Mrs. Luis Vasquez, Sr.

Sandra is a 2009 graduate of Callisburg High School. She is currently attending NCTC and majoring in psychology.

Joel is a 2005 graduate of Lake View High School. He currently attends Angelo State University and is majoring in government.

The two will marry Sept. 26 at 3:30 p.m., at the Waterloo Lake in Denison with Mike Reeves officiating.

The ceremony will be Victorian themed with lavender and cream colors and a lake and waterfall setting. Classical music will be played at the service.

The bride will be given in marriage by Roy Allen Gray, Sr.

Her dress is a Victorian off-the-shoulder gown with a 4” train. It also features pearl and rose inlays on the bodice and a trail of roses down the center of the train. Her flowers will be cream, lavender and purple.

Maid of honor will be Jessica Davis of Gainesville, best friend of the bride.

Matron of honor will be Matthew Gann of Valley View, friend of the bride.

Tamara Madrid, sister of the groom, will serve as a bridesmaid.

Bridal attendants will wear purple gowns with a single lavender rose.

Flowergirl will be Aaliyah Smith of Denison, niece of the bride, and Namiah Estrada of San Angelo will be the ring bearer, niece of the groom.

Best man will be Colby Ryan Gray of Gainesville, brother of the bride.

Groomsmen will include: Karen and Brandon Thompson of Thackerville, Okla., friends of the bride and groom and bride’s family.

Ushers will include Roy Allen Gray, Jr. of Gainesville and Dillon Gray of Gainesville, brothers of the bride.

A reception will be held at the Waterloo Lake Pavilion in Dension.

Reception assistants will include: Daniella Gray of Anna for the guest book, Brittney Gray of Gainesville for punch and cake, Barbara Holcomb of Whitesboro for the reception decorations and Sharon Reeves of Whitesboro for the wedding cake.

After the wedding, the couple plan to reside in Woodbine.
