Tickets remain available for annual fish fry fundraiser, conducted on behalf of Butterfield Stage Players and set to commence 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The event features all-you-can-eat catfish, trimmings and refreshments — and this year, the event features the music of regional artists Varian & Reynolds.
Lee Varian and Keith Reynolds provide 100 percent live music, said event organizer Frank Mahnich.
“No tracks, no tricks, no electronically enhanced vocals or drum machines,” he said. “Just solid tunes performed in the moment. They create an instant, spontaneous connection with an audience while bringing their flavor of classic acoustic rock and western music to Gainesville featuring songs of the 60s, 70s and 80s.”
Mahnich said their music, along with the food and fun, should make for a very enjoyable evening.
“They’re really a great group of guys,” he said.
Tickets are priced at $15 and are available at the Butterfield office located at 201 S. Denton from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Potential visitors should call to make sure tickets are still available at (940) 665-8152.
