The Texas FCCLA theme: “FCCLA: A World of Opportunities” was chosen for Muenster’s theme as well. The noon meeting started off with a delicious, completely homemade meal of chicken spaghetti, green bean casserole, garlic bread and four layer delight for dessert. This meal was made by FCCLA Advisor, Joni Sturm, and the Family and Consumer Sciences classes. After the meal, the officers recited the eight purposes of FCCLA during a red rose ceremony to remind members about the traditions of FCCLA. This also served as an official induction for all new members. These new members include Bailey Anderle, Rylee Cain, Carson Cheaney, Natalie Chism, Mandy Hacker, Max Herr, Alaina Kubis, Megan Rohmer, Paige Saucer, Erin Schniederjan, Jenna Sicking, LeeAnn West, Nick Saldana, Trey Anderle, Dalton Bartel, Sarah Binford, Jordan Buddy, Ashlyn Burke, Dalton Hess, Kyle Klement, Trace Klement, Trevor Lancaster, Karli Mouring, Sammy Saucer, Courtney Stevens, Kimber Walterscheid, Trey Anderle, Kevin Barnes and Darrell Hermes. Once all members and officers were inducted, the meeting ended with “warm courage and high hopes” for the new school year.
