To the Editor:
During the mornings and afternoons, students walk to the college. Many times in the late afternoons, students walk home from the high school. One afternoon I picked up three girls near the entrance to Bonner Hills and took them to their homes, which is not a good practice. I was worried about their safety.
Near the bridge, which begins the curve at the base of the hill on California Street, students must walk in wet or high grass or on the pavement. This is dangerous. There should be a sidewalk in this area for walking and riding bicycles, preferably all the way to the college and to the high school.
