Due to the sponsorship of Valley View Area Chamber of Commerce, Culpepper & Merriweather Circus, now in its 29th edition, is coming to Valley View on Sunday, March 24, at the Valley View ISD football field parking lot with two scheduled main performances at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Circus day actually begins with a special tent raising and free tour between 9 and 10 a.m. Once the shows start, the performers bring the magic of the circus to life in a set of 90-minute performances.
This year’s lineup includes a group of performers and entertainers that include Miss Simone and her amazing single trapeze; Miss Paulina’s proud prancing ponies; The Arlise Troupe on unicycles; Natilie’s American Eskimo Escapades; and The Ayalas, who specialize in foot juggling.
Advance tickets are available at First State Bank (Gainesville and Valley View branches), Rustic Ranch Décor, A New You Salon in Valley View, Hearsay in Mountain Springs, Country Cuts Salon in Era and Angel Care Home Health in Gainesville.
Also, “Skeeter The Clown” will be on the Valley View square at 10 a.m. Friday, March 15, for a presentation.
