Police discovered 400 grams of what they believe to be methamphetamine during a drug bust at the intersections of East U.S. Highway 82 and Interstate Highway 35 around midnight Friday.
The Cooke County Sheriff’s Department arrested Lonnie Reasor, 26, a resident of the 12 Oaks Inn, while serving a probable cause affidavit from County Court at Law Judge John Morris.
Investigator Greg Taylor submitted the affidavit which is a legal document requiring that the investigating officer have “a reasonable belief that the person has committed a crime.”
Reasor is being held at the Cooke County Justice Center on $250,000 bond.
Sheriff Mike Compton said officers Kinsey Lloyd, Keith Bartlett, Charles Johnson and Drew Pickle assisted Taylor.
