BONNIE LOUISE BROOKS
Services for Bonnie Louise Brooks, 70, of Gainesville are set for 10 a.m. Friday at First Christian Church with Rev. Mark Loewen of First Christian Church and Rev. Frank Lorne of Corinth Baptist officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Clement-Keel Funeral Home of Gainesville.
Mrs. Brooks died Aug. 17, 2008, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.
She was born Oct. 28, 1937, in Gainesville to Wesley Levi and Gladys Louise (Elliott) Kerr. On Sept. 11, 1958, she married Jimmie Lee Brooks Sr. in Weatherford. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She was a Registered Nurse for many years at Gainesville Memorial Home Health Care. She loved to paint and crochet.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Jr. and Polly Brooks of Gainesville; grandchildren, Jimmy Thomas Brooks and wife, Amberlee, Ashley Christine Brooks, Bailey Beth Michelle Brooks, and Caitlin Ruth Louise Brooks, all of Gainesville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Quinnen and Susan Brooks of Woods Cross, Utah, and Kenneth and Nancy Brooks of Indiana; and sister-in-law, Betty Brooks of Springfield, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Jimmie Lee Brooks Sr. in 2003.
Pallbearers are Sidney Riley, David Matthews, John Matthews, Eddie Fuller, Jimmy Thomas Brooks and Jeff Young.
Visitation will be at Clement-Keel Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

JACKIE GLENN JONES
WHITESBORO — Jackie Glenn Jones, 57, died Monday, Aug. 18, 2008, at his home. The Jones family will host a come-and-go remembrance service for him from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at 425 Buchanan in Whitesboro. Arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.
He was born on Aug. 30, 1950, in Gainesville to Bill and Carol Jo (Yarbrough) Jones. He married Joyce Gaskins on Dec. 19, 1980, in Sherman. He was a truck driver for Hope Concrete for 17 years. He was a non-denominational Christian.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce of Whitesboro; daughter, Lorree Jones of Marietta, Okla.; two grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Bubby and Carla Jones of Houston; sisters and brothers-in-law, Danna and Randy Morrow of Sherman, Darcy and Jerry Gaines of Sherman; mother-in-law, Mary Gaskins of Whitesboro; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Eddy Foster of Whitesboro and Shirley May of Whitesboro; brother-in-law, Randy Gaskins; sister-in-law, Darlene Federico; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Carol Jo Jones.

ANN “MEME” JACKSON
DENTON — Services for Ann “MeMe” Jackson, 62, of Denton, formerly of Gainesville, are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at Clement-Keel Chapel with Rev. J.W. Beachum officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clement-Keel Funeral Home of Gainesville.
Mrs. Jackson died Aug. 16, 2008, at Presbyterian Hospital.
She was born April 4, 1946, in Waco to Daniel and Perry (Leonard) Beachum. She was a member of the St. James A.M.E. Church. She had worked for Southland Paint and Linda Jo’s Shoe Factory for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards.
Survivors include her daughter, Michele Jackson of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one grandson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Glenda Fuller of Gainesville, Brenda Fugett of Denton, Beverly and James Brown of Gainesville, and Pat and Odis Hines of Tracy, Calif.; brother and sister-in-law, Harvey and Ruth Manuel of Arlington; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron and Perry Manuel; brother, Charles Manuel; and one grandson.
Pallbearers are Rodney Fuller, Russell McCloud, Shelton Medlock, Brandon Medlock, Charles Manuel Jr. and Michael Brown.
Visitation will be at the Clement-Keel Funeral Home from 6 to 7 p.m. today.
