Ruth Halley McMinn, 28, turned herself in on two misdemeanor warrants. McMinn’s original charges were unrestrained child and violation of promise to appear.
A Gainesville man reported unauthorized use of a vehicle Tuesday. The vehicle — a two door pickup with two hay bail spikes — was taken from West U.S. Highway 82 and is valued at about $5,000.
A Whitesboro man told police a suspect burglarized his vehicle in the 1200 block of West U.S. Highway 82. The suspect reportedly entered the vehicle after smashing a window. Missing from the vehicle was a handbag valued at $25.
A Gainesville resident reported a home burglary in the 1200 block of West U.S. Highway 82. Police recovered a sledgehammer used in a vehicle and home burglary.
A Sanger woman was the victim of identity theft. Two credit/debit cards were used without the woman’s permission. A total of $300 was charged to the victim.
Michael Kyle McAfee, 20 was arrested on a misdemeanor warrnat for failure to change address and failure to appear.
An East Scott Street resident reported the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. A suspect reportedly drove away in the victim’s black Chevrolet SUV.
A woman told police a suspect stole $240 during a theft incident in the 400 block of North Interstate Highway 35.
Taylor Lee Dooley, 21, was arrested on misdemeanor warrants for minor in consumption and failure to appear.
