Special to the Register
Gainesville Daily Register

Gainesville — If you enjoy a variety of tastes, and like to have some fun with lunch, be sure to mark your calendars for the “Taste of NTMC” Friday, Nov. 2, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville.

The public is invited to load their lunch plates with foods ranging from German to Mexican to Chinese.  Go  “Tailgating,” strap on your feedbag and eat from the “Chuckwagon”, or put on your white gloves for “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.”

You can “EatMorChikin” or just “pig” out, while you munch on salads, entrees and appetizers and dive into devilish desserts.

A minimum donation of $8 will get you a container to fill, tea or water and a comfortable place to sit in the NTMC Café.

Participants are urged to arrive early, because when the food is gone, we will be too.

Diners will help choose the winning team through their donations in “tip jars.”

Stations will be judged on presentation and quality of food.

All proceeds benefit Cooke County United Way. For more information, contact Gayla Blanton at 612-8373 or Donna Otts at 612-8646.
