Whaley bestows donation


— Representatives from several local organizations gathered recently to receive donations from the Whaley United Methodist Church Women. The funds for the gifts were the proceeds from the church women’s annual Chicken Spaghetti Dinner held in November. Present to receive gifts were (not in order): Kim Cook and Kelly Fiore-Watson, Abigail’s Arms; Tricia West, Boys and Girls Club and Littlest Angel; Vicki Robertson, CASA; Mary Klement and Rayedean Crittendon, DASH; Molly Worthen, Habitat for Humanity; Kathie Kirby, Home Hospice; Kim McClinton, Meals on Wheels; Carolyn Castleberry, Stanford House; and Marilyn Melton, VISTO.
