Two Gainesville-based officials of Landmark Bank have received notable promotions following a series of “presidential shifts” within the company.
The promotions, now complete, include Gainesville commercial lender Steven Sims, who was named president of the Gainesville facility; Robert Boone, who left his position as Gainesville president and is now senior vice-president and community development officer for all Landmark Banks in Texas; Denison president Robert Sylvester, who became president of the bank in Sherman; Pottsboro president Diana Williams, who will lead operations in Denison, and Sherman bank president Scott Hailey, who is now president of the Landmark branch in Pottsboro.
The shift is intended to ensure that seasoned bank officers help improve customer service and that the position of Landmark Bank is poised for any economic growth that might come.
“The future is bright for the Texas region,” said Randy Hensarling, regional president for the Landmark Banks in Texas. “And it’s because we have great bankers who understand the vision, and are willing to commit their talents where they can do the most good. In a recovering economy, it’s rewarding to see that we all want the best for the communities we serve. Being supportive of others is what makes it work.”
A release explained that Landmark Bank is a community bank with $1.8 billion in assets and 40 locations in 27 communities across Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.
