Early voting coming to end

Gainesville — Polls opened last Monday and close tomorrow for early voters in local school,

hospital and civic elections.

Regular voting in all elections begins May 12. And during the early

voting phase, participants are not required to show a photo ID; they

will only be asked to show a voter registration card, though a photo

ID can be used in place of that card if needed.

Early voting times are as follows:



School board elections



Gainesvile ISD — Early voting is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Monday through Friday at 800 S. Morris St. in Gainesville.

Callisburg ISD — Early voting is available from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Monday through Friday at 148 Dozier St. in Callisburg.

Lindsay ISD — Early voting is available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Monday through Friday at 495 W 6th St. in Lindsay.



Muenster option       election



A local option election is set for May 12, allowing Muenster residents

to vote on the sale of alcohol in the                newly developed

Germanfest Heritage Park. Early voting is available from 8 a.m. to

noon and 1 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 400 N. Main St. in

Muenster.



Hospital elections



North Texas Medical Center — Early voting is available from 8 a.m. to

5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 1900 Hospital Boulevard in

Gainesville.

Muenster Memorial Hospital. Early voting is available from 8:30 to

4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at 605 N. Maple St. in Muenster.
