United Way announces new board members

Cooke County — Cooke County United Way representatives announced the appointment of several new board members during the past week.

New members include Spencer Flint, Kristi Rigsby, Amanda Riley, Billy Roessler, Pam Sidwell and John Walterscheid. And during the 2013 campaign, Brent Reed will serve as president; Rhonda Beam will serve as vice-president; and Lois Essenburg will serve as treasurer. United Way representatives are scheduled to announce new chairs during January.

As in years past, the 2013 proceeds will benefit more than 15 local agencies. Promotional literature for the upcoming campaign provided details about what exactly the benefit agencies do for local beneficiaries, who are often Cooke County children.
