The Butterfield Stage Players performance benefit this month is for the Alzheimer Time Out Program.
This program is sponsored by The Soroptimist Club of Gainesville. The Butterfield performance is scheduled for Thursday evening Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m.
Vanities is a comedy about the growth of friendship of three small town women and is sure to please an adult audience.
Tickets for this special performance are available from any Soroptimist member.

A coffee bar with homemade cookies will be provided beginning at 6:45 p.m. until 7:15 p.m. and at intermission.
The Time-out program provides an opportunity for caregivers to leave their loved one and enjoy some time to visit with friends, shop or just be by themselves knowing their Alzheimer’s patient is in good care.
The Time out program in the only social outlet for many of these participants. Time out activities are designed to promote mental stimulation and social activity. Activities include reminiscence time, games, light exercise, arts & crafts, music and more.
Lunch and snacks are also provided.
The Time out program is provided free to the patient and sponsored by the Soroptimist Club. The staff consists of a professional director and devoted community volunteers. The program is held on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Stanford House.
It is open to any adult suffering from memory loss even if they have not been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
