Gainesville Police took the following individuals into custody last week. Denise Dennington Huerta, 37, Parkside Circle, Oak Ridge, possession of dangerous drugs and Billy Joe Morris, 53, 1201 Old Sivells Bend Rd., Apt. 18, Gainesville, municipal warrant.
An employee reported that a suspect left Applebee’s restaurant without paying a $132.97 recently.
Virgil Dale White reported a theft on Truelove Street. White told police an unknown person took a lawnmower from his yard. The missing mowing is valued at approximately $90.
David Allen Grant, 27, of Gainesville was taken into custody Tuesday on a warrant for failure to appear. His original charge was violation of the open container law.
Alan J. Worley, Jr., 30, of Lindsay was arrested Tuesday on a charge of driving while license suspended.
Police arrested a Gainesville man Tuesday after his girlfriend told officers the man shoved her and struck her in the eye with his fist.
