The Gainesville Hospital District Board of Directors approved these agenda items during Monday’s regular meeting:
• Directors approved the swearing in of new board member Robbie Baugh, who was appointed during the regular meeting of May 29.
• Directors approved a capital expenditure request of $296,825.73, set to be spent on an information technology IT upgrade to the facility’s computer network. The funds will cover a replacement of all switches in the facility’s network — overhauling the entire system and allowing IT employees to view computer traffic in real time.
• Directors approved allowing Chief Executive Officer Randy Bacus to negotiate a “net income guarantee” physician recruitment agreement with Ramin Roufeh, M.D.
• Directors approved a preparation contract regarding clinic electronic medical records.
• Directors approved the professional appointments (for one year) for Russell Burton, MD; Damien Dauphinee, DPM; Lesley Richey-Smith, DPM; and Ramin Roufeh, MD; and reappointments (for two years) for Jack Childress, MD; Ajit Dave, MD; Christina Dooley, MD; Alex Gilman, DO; Andrea Green, MD; Gene Herzog, DO; Sushama Jasti, MD; Richard Jolly, MD; Abdul Khan, MD; Peter McGowan, MD; David Miksits, MD; Daeyoung Roh, MD; and Allied Health Professional Eric Riegfer, CRNA; and terminations for Subhash Bose, MD; Halli Carri, RN; Patricia Mahon, NP; Jamee Tate, NP; Matthew Todaro, MD; Sri Yedlapalli, MD; and Eric Zeikus, MD.
