Gainesville —
One in five Americans will develop skin cancer in the course of a lifetime.
Residents can learn to be proactive and protect themselves from this health threat by participating in a free skin cancer screening now through Aug. 31 at the Aesthetic Surgery Center of North Texas at 2024 West Highway 82 in Gainesville.
Drew Sanderson, M.D., Cooke County’s new head, neck and plastic surgeon, will provide the screening, thoroughly checking the skin for any unusual moles or lesions.
Doctor Sanderson can also provide follow-up care as needed.
To schedule an appointment, call (940) 612-8760 and let the clerk know you are calling for the free skin cancer screening.
Dr. Sanderson will also be providing an additional oral cancer screening free of charge for participants.
