June’s slate of Cooke County Grand Jury indictments includes a Cooke County Justice Center inmate facing a first-degree felony assault charge.
Aaron Thomas-Grayson, 17, has been indicted on two counts of aggravated assault on a public servant — first and second-degree felony levels. Court records explained that on Feb. 23, while incarcerated in Gainesville State School, Grayson struck correctional officer Joshua Cueva in the face, breaking his nose. If convicted, Grayson faces numerous possible prison sentences, including 15 to 99 years.

Candida Dawn Fleitman was indicted for forgery, a state jail felony.
Katrina Lisa Floyd was indicted for assault on a public servant, a third-degree felony.
Brandon Decarlos Ford was indicted for burglary of a building, a state jail felony.
Holly W. Franklin was indicted for deception by document, a third-degree felony.
Rhonda Ladelle Fry was indicted for forgery, a state jail felony.
James Edward Geray III was indicted for organized retail theft, a state jail felony.
Frank Joe Jiminez was indicted for intoxication assault, a third-degree felony.
Jared T. Leclair was indicted for theft of property, a state jail felony.
Clay Denim Scott was indicted for retaliation, a third-degree felony.
Curtis Bryan Scott was indicted for unlawful carrying of a weapon, a third-degree felony.
Travis Joseph Sicking was indicted for intoxication assault, a third-degree felony.
Christopher Lynn Stephens was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, a state jail felony.
Johnathan Daniel Cox was indicted for aggravated assault, a first-degree felony.
Gary Eugene Dankesreiter was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, a state jail felony.
Jennifer L. Stewart was indicted for deception by document, a state jail felony.
Steven Grant Storms was indicted for theft of a firearm, a state jail felony.
Angela Voyles Stover was indicted for theft of property, a state jail felony.
Lohman Dwight Whiddon Jr. was indicted for theft of property, a state jail felony.

Texas adds more than 33K new jobs in April
Texas’ seasonally adjusted total nonfarm employment expanded by 33,100 jobs in April. Texas added 326,100 jobs from April 2012 to April 2013. The state’s annual growth rate in April stood at 3.0 percent, and has been above 2.5 percent since the beginning of 2012. Texas’ seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was unchanged in April at 6.4 percent. It remains well below the nation’s April unemployment rate of 7.5 percent.
