Gainesville — North Central Texas College will be host to a special Christmas concert set to benefit the Abigail’s Arms Family Crisis Center.

The “Home for the Holidays” concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, inside the First State Bank Center for the Performing Arts.

Once again this year, the holiday concert will feature NCTC Vice-President of Instruction Dr. Brent Wallace, an accomplished pianist and vocalist. Wallace will be joined by soprano Angela Doss and flautist Cindy Carter.

Concertgoers can expect to hear traditional Christmas favorites such as “Joy to the World” and “White Christmas” along with other hymns and carols.

While there is no admission charge for the concert, donations can be made in the center lobby to benefit Abigail’s Arms Cooke County Family Crisis Center.

Wallace arrived at North Central Texas College in August 2011.

He had spent the last 20 years in Abilene where he attended high school and college.

Wallace has been a presenter at state and national higher education conferences and is a member of multiple state higher education groups, including the Texas Community College Instructional Administrators.
