The parents of the first baby born in Cooke County’s during 2013 have Montague County parents, according to a media release.
Emma Fayann Russell made her debut at 2:34 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville — daughter of Maegen Nicole Russell of Forestburg and Dayton Padgett of Nocona.
The baby weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and was 20 inches long. She is the couple’s first child.
Grandparents are Karen Ann Russell of Forestburg, Billy Joe Russell of Nocona and Carla Fay Bilbery of Nocona. John and Geneva Massengale of Forestburg are the baby’s great-grandparents.
Doctor Amy Klein of the medical center’s obstetrics/gynecology department was the delivering physician.
The newborn’s parents were later presented with a basket of gifts and a case of diapers and wipes from the North Texas Medical Center.
