Workers assemble the county Christmas tree on the east side of the courthouse in Gainesville. Upcoming holiday events planned in Gainesville include the Festival of Trees set for Dec. 3-28, the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce Christmas parade Dec. 6, Holiday on the Square Dec. 7 and the historic home tour Dec. 8.
