LINDSAY — John Haverkamp had 125 yards rushing and two touchdowns while throwing for another as Lindsay topped Chico 40-13 on Friday night.
Haverkamp had touchdown runs of 57 and 2 yards for the Knights (5-2, 2-0). He would find Cody Thurman late in the first quarter for a 16-yard touchdown pass.
Running back Blake Walker scored a 64-yard touchdown run in the second half as the Knights would roll.
Caleb Anderle added a 14-yard touchdown and Hud Harrison had an interception return for a touchdown.
Lindsay will travel to play Valley View at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams enter the game 2-0 in district play.
