VALLEY VIEW — Muenster clinched its fifth consecutive district championship on Tuesday and it was nothing short of a team effort.
Two Lady Hornets scored 10 points and three others reached nine as No. 7 state-ranked Muenster toppled Valley View 56-29 on the road.
Cedy Burnett and Amber Walterscheid both scored 10 points a piece for Muenster (26-4, 7-0). Paige Herr, Kristen Reiter and Hannah Bayer all had nine points while Michelle Sicking had five, Lauren Rohmer had two and Sydney Huchton had two.
The win was the 55th consecutive district victory for the Lady Hornets.
Muenster will host Era on Friday to close out the regular season.
Sacred Heart 63, Arlington Fellowship 24
Bailey Walterscheid scored 15 points to lead Sacred Heart past Arlington Fellowship Academy 63-24 on Tuesday.
The Tigerettes shot 40 percent from both inside and outside the arc as they rolled to victory.
Danielle Berend had 12 points for Sacred Heart. Kaitlyn Hesse had 11 points while Karleigh Reeves and Kylie Hess both had five a piece.
Sacred Heart will travel to play Harvest Christian on Friday.
Lindsay 48, Collinsville 42
Jalyn Anderle had a double-double of 16 points and 15 rebounds to lead Lindsay to a 48-42 win over Collinsville on Tuesday.
Sydney Ott scored a game-high 22 points for the Lady Knights.
Lindsay will host Celina on Friday in a non-district tuneup.
Callisburg 54, Bells 45
Amberly Colwell scored a team-high 13 points as Callisburg topped Bells 54-45 on the road Tuesday.
Kalli Byrom scored 11 points for the Lady Cats.
Callisburg can clinch a playoff berth with a win on Friday when the Lady Cats travel to face first-place Howe.
