The Gainesville ISD school board officially approved the hire of Keith
Hall Monday to be their new head football coach.
Hall has spent the last two season as an assistant coach at Denton
High School and was head coach at Vernon High School before that.
Lindsay’s Alie Fogle signed her letter of intent to run track at St.
Gregory’s University in Shawnee, OK Monday morning. She competed in
both field and running events for the Lady Knights.
Lindsay’s Jordan Fleitman signed her letter of intent to play
volleyball at Lyon College in Batesville, AR Monday morning. Fleitman
was an all-state selection by the TGCA in 2012 and finished the year
with 409 kills, 183 blocks, 164 digs and 24 aces.
The Lindsay Lady Knights saw their season come to an end as
Blue Ridge rebounded from a Friday night loss to beat Lindsay twice
Saturday in their best-of-three Class A Regional Semifinal playoff in
Frisco.
After Lindsay (15-10-1) took game one on Friday 9-8, Blue Ridge came
back and won game two 12-6 then got a walkoff 6-5 win in game three
to advance to face Sam Rayburn in the regional finals.

Dodd City Hornets in the regional quarterfinal round of the state
baseball playoffs - and they got it.
Muenster rallied in the top of the seventh inning in game two to tie
the game and then won it in the eighth, 8-7 to force a game three. But
in a day that had it’s share of highs and lows the Muenster arms just
could not hold up in the third game, falling 8-1 and ending the
Hornets season.
