After setting a national record and helping the Lindsay Lady Knights reach the Class A State Tournament this season, junior middle blocker Nicole Fleitman was honored with some of the top players in the country Tuesday.
Fleitman was placed alongside the best of the best at the high school level, getting named to the Max Preps 2013 Volleyball Small School All-American First Team.
Fleitman had a season to remember in 2013, breaking the all time high school national record with an average of 21.9 kills per game. Her 986 kills earned this season ranked second in the nation.
Along with those accomplishments, Fleitman was named the District 11A MVP and Region II 1A All Tournament MVP before being added to the Texas Girls’ Coaches All- State team.
