GOLF: Sacred Heart boys, girls advance to regionals

MUENSTER — The Sacred Heart girls golf team took second palce at the TAPPS District 1-2A golf championships at Turtle Hill Golf Course on Monday.

The Tigerettes fired a team total of 438 which was second only to Amarillo Holy Cross’ 429.

Devan Henry paced Sacred Heart with a 98 - good for second in the tournament. Elizabeth Turner was third over all with a 101 while Madison Dugger shot a 111, Lindsay Miller fired a 128 and Sarah Miller shot a 134.

The Sacred Heart boys golf team finished fourth in the team standings.

Brady Endres fired a 104 to lead the Tigers while Cooper Eddleman shots a 108, Issac Barnhill fired a 109, Grant Springer chipped in a 110, Keith Metzler had a 119 and Aaron Davis shot a 120.

Both the boys and girls advance to regionals on Monday in Dallas.
