VOLLEYBALL: Lindsay tops Albany, moves to Region II-1A tourney

LINDSAY — Nicole Fleitman had 30 kills and 13 digs as Lindsay will return to the Region II-1A volleyball tournament with a 25-18, 26-28, 25-15, 25-16 over Albany Tuesday.

Lindsay will play Blum in Weatherford on Friday. The final will be Saturday if the Lady Knights win.

Tara Atkins had 45 assists for the Lady Knights (31-9) against Albany. Jalyn Anderle had 18 kills and five blocks while Briley Fleitman had three kills, two blocks and five digs.

Lindsay fell to Cayuga in the regional final last year, missing the state tournament by one match.
