LINDSAY — Lindsay dropped its first set in district play but it didn’t stop them from getting the win.
The Lady Knights improved to 12-0 in District 11-1A with a 20-25, 25-12, 25-16, 25-16 win over Chico on Tuesday.
Nicole Fleitman had 21 kills, 13 digs and six aces for Lindsay (27-8, 12-0). Tara Atkins had seven aces, Jalyn Anderle had 13 kills and Briley Fleitman had two kills and five digs.
Lindsay had swept teams in each of its previous 11 District 11-1A wins.
The Knights will host St. Jo at 4 p.m. Friday.
Callisburg sweeps Whitewright
Amberly Colwell had 16 kills and Kalli Byrom had 26 assists in a 25-14, 25-18, 25-13 sweep of Whitewright.
Madison Reed added 14 digs for No. 16 state-ranked Callisburg (28-7, 12-0). Colwell had four blocks and Byrom added three aces.
Callisburg will travel to play Bells at 4:30 p.m. Friday.
