GAINESVILLE — The Red River Shootout basketball tournament will continue with the boys version of the tournament starting Friday at Gainesville High School.
Teams from Gainesville, Valley View, Callisburg, Pilot Point, Sanger and Ft. Worth Trinity Valley will battle it out over the three day tournament.
The championship game will be played at 3 p.m. Sunday at Gainesville High.
Gainesville will play Valley View at 10 a.m. Friday to begin the tournament - the Leopards will later play at 4 p.m. as well against Pilot Point.
Callisburg opens the tournament against Ft. Worth Trinity Valley at 11 a.m. while Pilot Point will play Sanger at noon.
Bracket play begins at 3 p.m. Saturday with teams being seeded based on how they do in the pool games.
The girls version of the tournament was played last weekend at Gainesville High.
