COLLEGE SOFTBALL: NCTC's Hendrick to be honored Saturday

GAINESVILLE — NCTC head softball coach Van Hedrick will be honored before Saturday's home doubleheader with Vernon College.

Hedrick recently recorded his 600th career win. NCTC is now 27-5 on the season and 5-1 in conference play. Saturday's doubleheader begins at 1 p.m.

The NCTC baseball team will also be playing Vernon on that day, so fans can watch both the Lady Lions and Lions at Darwin Field.

Tickets are just $2 for adults and $1 for students. NCTC students and staff are admitted free.
