FOOTBALL: Sacred Heart dominates Amarillo San Jacinto

AMARILLO — John Paul Hesse ran for three touchdowns and returned a fumble 41 yards for another score as Sacred Heart romped past San Jacinto Academy 50-6 on Friday.

Hesse had touchdown runs of 5, 60 and 34 as the Tigers ran for 301 yards on the night in the TAPPS Division III District I contest in Amarillo.

Juan Salinas added two touchdowns, his second of which putting the Tigers (6-2, 4-0) up 22-0 at the time.

Kason Reeves threw for 54 yards on 7 of 9 passing. He had an 8-yard run to cap a 36 point first half for the Tigers.

Sacred Heart will host Calvary Christian next Friday. A win would set up a showdown for the district championship with Lake Country Christian at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9 in Ft. Worth.
