BOYS HOOPS ROUNDUP: Lindsay tops Collinsville, moves into first place

COLLINSVILLE — Lindsay moved into a two-way tie for first place in District 13-1A with a 66-57 win over Collinsville on the road on Tuesday.

The Knights now own a 4-1 district play, an identical mark to rival Muenster.

Lyndon Cook had yet another double-double, this time with 19 points and 20 rebounds for the Knights. Kedrick Boaz had 11 points while Andy Dieter and John Haverkamp both had 10 points a piece.

The Knights shot 46 percent from beyond the arc, making 6 of 13 shots on the night.

Lindsay will have a bit of a tune-up on Friday when it travels to take Class 3A Anna during its bye in district play.

 

Arlington Fellowship 66, Sacred Heart 38

Isac Walterscheid scored 10 points for Sacred Heart in a 66-38 loss to Arlington Fellowship Academy on Tuesday.

Hayden Schilling added eight points for the Tigers. Nick Zimmerer and Brady Endres both had five points a piece.

Sacred Heart will travel to play Harvest Christian on Friday.

 

Bells 52, Callisburg 36

Callisburg fell to Bells 52-36 on Tuesday in a District 11-2A bout.

Hayden Johnson led Bells with 21 points. Weston Prat had eight points and nine rebounds.

Callisburg will travel to play Howe on Friday.

 

Whitesboro 79, Howe 29

Ryan Schuessler poured in 19 points to help lead Whitesboro past Howe 79-29 on Tuesday.

Weston Walsh chipped in 11 points for the Bearcats (21-6, 10-0), who clinched a playoff berth with the win.

Whitesboro will host Whitewright on Friday.
