PATRICIA “MISS P” PERRYMAN
WICHITA FALLS — Services for Patricia “Miss P” Perryman, 68, of Wichita Falls, are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2008, at Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. C. Rodney Smith of the Welch St. Church of Christ in Wichita Falls officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Clement-Keel Funeral Home of Gainesville.
She was born May 29, 1940, in Marietta, Okla., to Willie and Elrena (Brown) Fields. She married John Perryman in Wichita Falls. She was a member of the Welch Street Church of Christ in Wichita Falls. She graduated from Booker T. Washington in Gainesville and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Alesia and Marion Jordan of Wichita Falls; beloved pet, Fancy; special aunt, Betty Brown of Dallas; brothers, Larry Hubbard of Gainesville and Ronnie Hubbard of Gainesville; seven sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Willie Joe Tillis of Wichita Falls, Texas, Deloris and Henry Harrison of Gainesville, Evelyn Stone of Gainesville, Billie Watson of Gainesville, Rita Hubbard of Gainesville, Donna Hubbard of Gainesville, and Candy Hubbard of Gainesville; brother-in-law, Kenneth Perryman of Wichita Falls; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Elrena Fields; husband, John Perryman; two brothers, Paul David Fields and Buddy Fields; and sisters, Williesteen Oatts and Louise Hall.
Pallbearers are family and friends.
Visitation will be at the Clement-Keel Funeral Home from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2008.

Services for Mary Stoffels, 83, of Lindsay are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Rev. Ron Scheible, O.S.A., officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville.
Mrs. Stoffels died June 21, 2008, at Renaissance Care Center.
She was born Oct. 12, 1924, in Centralia, Okla., to Joseph and Mary Orth Fuhrmann. On Jan. 3, 1946, she married Henry N. Stoffels in Muenster. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Jim Sims of Spring, Sylvia and Richard Gigger of Houston, Marilyn and Alan Marquez of Thornton, Colo., and Margie and Mark Laster of Lindsay; sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald and Cathy Stoffels of Mansfield, La., David and Ginger Stoffels of Lindsay and Danny Stoffels of Lindsay; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Rev. Bruno Fuhrmann of Subiaco, Ark.; sisters, Anastasia Klein of Topeka, Kan., Agnes Gully of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Juliana Grewing of Muenster; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Stoffels on Nov. 25, 1989; one great-grandson; and brothers, Bro. Michael Fuhrmann, Oscar Fuhrmann and Joseph Fuhrmann.
Pallbearers are grandsons and nephews.
A family Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. today at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

DOROTHY DEE BREWTON
LAKE KIOWA — At the age of 86, surrounded by her family in a Gainesville, Texas, home, Dee went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 24, 2008. A resident of Lake Kiowa, Texas, Dee was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jack Brewton, and by a daughter, Jana Bentley. She is survived by her son, Bob Brewton and his wife, Karen, and their children, David Brewton and Kelly Brewton; by her daughter, Lyn McKinney and her husband, Keith McKinney; and her son-in-law, Mike Bentley and his daughter, Amy Bentley.
Funeral service willl be conducted on Saturday, June 28, 2008, at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. John Hare and Eric Shick.
Dee was born July 26, 1921, in Stephenville, Texas, daughter of Ceaborn Harvey and Mollie Warren Goodwin. She was married to Robert Jackson Brewton in 1942 in Stephenville.

GLENN ALPHA WEIDNER
GORDONVILLE — Funeral Service for Glenn Alpha Weidner, 81, is set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Gordonville Church of Christ with Gene Deckard and Bro. Bill Weidner officiating. Interment will follow in Gordonville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.
Mr. Weidner died June 25, 2008, at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman.
Glenn Weidner was the son of Henry and Beulah Weidner. He was born on Sept. 27, 1926, at Dallas. He was a retired electrician, former Local 59. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Worker (IBEW) out of Dallas for 60 years. He was a member of Gordonville Church of Christ. Glenn was a commander of a c.b. organization, the EX 5. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, building flags and nautical flag poles.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Catherine of Gordonville; sons and daughter-in-law, Ronald Glenn and Linda Weidner of Bedford and “Bill” William Henry Weidner of Plano; daughters and son-in-law, Donna C. Weidner of Howe, Nancy Gail and Larry Donovan of Plano and Susan E. and Larry Mitchell of Gordonville; sister, Martha F. Berry of Dallas; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; one nephew; and numerous other next of kin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Beulah Weidner.

KIMSEY LEA WOODS
WHITE SETTLEMENT — Graveside service for Kimsey Lea Woods of White Settlement are set for 2 p.m. June 26 at the Sadler Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Henry officiating.
Mr. Woods died June 24, 2008, at the Presbyterian Care Center in Ft. Worth.
He was born on Dec. 16, 1942, in Clovis, N.M., to Oree and Jean Woods. He married Linda Franks on Oct. 2, 2004, in Whitesboro. He served in the National Guard for 9 years. Following his service he was the maintance director in Brookhaven in Dallas.
Mr. Woods is survived by his wife, Linda Woods of White Settlement; mother, Jean Woods of Sadler; and sister and brother-in-law, Mike and Karen Whitmire of Sadler.
Mr. Woods is preceded in death by his father, Oree Woods.

EUGENE PAUL MURPHY
Memorial services for Eugene Paul Murphy, 73 of Gainesville, Texas, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 27 in the Fairview Cemetery Pavilion. Mr. Murphy died June 6, 2008, at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton, Texas, after a three year illness. Services will be officiated by Rev. Hubert Wright.
Mr. Murphy was born December 13, 1934, in Cooke County to Albert Ross Murphy and Cecil Jim Moore-Murphy. He attended Gainesville schools and was a newspaper carrier for the Gainesville paper as a teenager. Mr. Murphy joined the Navy in 1953. On July 9, 1954, he married Yaeko Sakai Murphy in Tokyo, Japan. During his 20 years of Naval service, Mr. Murphy served on the USS Hector, Delta, Ajax, Pollux, Uvalde, Arneb, and Elokomin, retiring in Norfolk, Virginia, in 1972 as Senior Chief Machinist’ s Mate. While in the Navy, he received many medals, including several good conduct, armed forces expeditionary, and national defense service medals. After retirement, he owned and operated Gene Murphy Builders and also enjoyed square dancing with his wife and daughter, Nancy. Together they started the square dance group Crossroad Squares. They attended Eastside Baptist church in Norfolk, Virginia. They moved back to Mr. Murphy’ s hometown of Gainesville, Texas, in 1983 to be closer to his family, where they continued their business and Crossroad Squares dance classes. Mr. Murphy enjoyed fishing, working on old cars and western movies. John Wayne and James Stewart were his favorite actors. One of his favorite sayings was “that’ll be the day”.
Survivors include his daughter, Nancy Jean Murphy of Gainesville; David, Sylvia and Eric Cuddy of Altadena, Calif.; sister, Frances Fern Shotwell and brother-in-law, Jody Shotwell of Gainesville; sisters-in-law, Sandy Murphy of Lampasas, Texas, and Lynda Murphy of Grand Junction, Co.; Aunt Doris Wright of Mansfield, Texas, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Yaeko Sakai Murphy in 1998; father, Albert Ross Murphy in 1947 and his mother, Cecil Jim Murphy in 1989; brothers, Orville Ray Murphy 2004, Jimmie Albert Murphy 2001, Alan Roy Murphy 1933, and Cecil Edward Murphy 1995; and sister, Edith Faye Pope in 2000.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice in honor of Eugene P. Murphy.

GENE WILLIS TRAMMELL
Memorial service for Gene Willis Trammell, 43, of Gainesville are set for 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel of Gainesville with Rev. Hubert Wright and Rev. Scott Trammell officiating.
Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Chapel.
Mr. Trammell died June 23, 2008, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.
He was born Nov. 1, 1964, in Gainesville to Jim “Buck” W. and Lanette Bayer Trammell. He graduated from Gainesville High School in 1984 and also attended North Central Texas College. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Gainesville Black Bass Association.
Survivors include his mother, Lanette Trammell; several aunts and uncles; and a number of cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father on May 14, 1996, and by his grandparents, Al and Marie Loerwald Bayer and Dowd and Bell Bryant Trammell.
