NIKOLAS ESSAI ALEKSANDER BURKS

TYLER — Services for Nikolas Essai Aleksander Burks, infant of Kaeley Williams and Jonathan Burks of Tyler, are set for 3 p.m. Thursday at Clement-Keel Chapel.

Nikolas Essai Aleksander Burks was born and died July 4, 2008, at Parkland Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include his parents, Kaeley Williams and Jonathan Burks of Tyler; grandparents, Patricia Burks of Duncan, Okla., Ricky and Christy Burks of Gainesville, Brice and Stephanie Clement of Tyler and Kevin Williams of Alma, Mich.



MICHAEL DRAKE JOHNSON

Graveside service for Michael Drake Johnson, 3 weeks, of Gainesville is set for 10 a.m. Thursday at Fairview Cemetery Pavilion. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Clement-Keel Funeral Home of Gainesville.

Michael Drake Johnson died July 7, 2008, at Cooks Childrens Hospital in Fort Worth.

He was born June 13, 2008, in Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth to Kacie Price and Michael Eugene Johnson.

Survivors include his parents, Kacie Price and Michael Eugene Johnson of Gainesville; brother, Ashton; sister, Allie; grandparents, Gale Price of Thackerville, Okla., and David and Sue Johnson of Lake Kiowa, and Janie and Jamie Robinson of Gainesville.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth S. Price; and brother, Kenneth Michael Salinas.

Visitation will be at the Clement-Keel Funeral Home from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Thursday prior to the service.



JAMES CLIFTON ALEXANDER

WHITESBORO — Graveside services for James Clifton Alexander, 90, are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Tabor Cemetery near Sandusky. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.

Mr. Alexander died Sunday, July 6, 2008, in Clinton, Okla.

He was born on Nov. 13, 1917, in Dixie to Guy Hugo and Maude Lee (Walker) Alexander. He was a United States Army veteran during World War II. He married Mildred Pauline Moran on July 4, 1953, in Gordonville. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include two daughters, Marie and Anita Alexander of Denton; and brother, Jack Alexander of Guymon, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Alexander; brothers, Raymond, William, Maurice and Walker Alexander; and a sister, Sylvia Gray.

No formal visitation is planned.

CHARLIE JOE REYNOLDS

MUENSTER — Funeral services for Charlie Joe Reynolds, 76, of Muenster are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday at the McCoy Funeral Chapel in Muenster, with Larry Safford, a nephew, officiating. Burial is set for 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Ryan, Okla. Services are directed by McCoy Funeral Home in Muenster.

Mr. Reynolds died Sunday Sunday, July 6, 2008, in Denton Regional Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 12, 1931, in Blackburn, Okla. He was one of the six children of Ross H. and Lorene White Reynolds. He was a Baptist, retiree from the United States Army, retiree from the police force and had worked some 10 years for Sacred Heart school and also for the Lindsay school. He lived the past 14 years in Muenster.

Mr. Reynolds was a veteran of the Korean conflict where he spent two tours of duty on the front lines. He then became a Vietnam veteran where he held the job of truckmaster. He had received numerous medals for his efforts in defense of this country. He had earned the rank of staff sergeant, E-6

He served on several police forces for a total of about 20 years; his last service was for the city of Lindsay.

He completed high school and then attended Tarrant County Junior College in Fort Worth. He always enjoyed horse racing and the school sports in both Sacred Heart and in Lindsay. He also enjoyed traveling and his work.

Survivors include sons, Charlie Reynolds of Oklahoma and Joey Reynolds of North Carolina; sisters, Virginia Eakman of Bridgeport and Patricia Stinnett of Duncan, Okla; brother, Alfred Reynolds of Duncan, Okla; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Lorene Reynolds; and brothers Kenneth Ray and Ross Reynolds.

A visitation is set for 6 to 8 p.m. today at McCoy Funeral Home in Muenster.
