ANNA RUTH DEASON
WHITESBORO – Funeral services for Anna Ruth Deason, 75, of Whitesboro will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Joe Kite officiating.
Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home.
Anna died on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at her daughter’s residence in Sherman.
Survivors include a daughter, Theresa Burt of Sherman; sister, Nelda Haire of Lone Star and brothers, Cecil Handley of Enid, Okla. and Charles D. of Whitesboro.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2009 at the funeral home.

MUNDY INGALLS PEALE
Mundy Ingalls Peale, Jr., age 74, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, July 8, 2009 at his Lake Kiowa residence after a long illness. Mundy’s life will be celebrated during a service held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church in Gainesville. The service will be celebrated by Rev. Don Yeager. Services are under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
Mundy was born in Evansville, Ind.. on Aug. 23, 1934. He married Pat Crawford on Dec. 23, 1957 while serving as an Air Force Pilot and Radar Intercept Director flying T-33s at Hondo Air Force Base in San Antonio. He joined Ford Motor Company in 1961 as a Cost Analyst and held several supervisory positions during his 12 year tenure, including Cost Analyst Manager for three years in Sao Paulo, Brazil. From 1979-1988, Mundy held the position of VP and Controller for Rockwell International’s Electronics Operations and Avionics & Missiles Group. In 1988, Mundy became VP of Corporate Finance, Central Region, directing corporate finance activities for Rockwell’s COO of Automotive and Electronics business. Mundy served as CFO for Marlow Industries from1993-96. He left Marlow Industries to join United Space Alliance, NASA's primary industry partner in human space operations, including the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station. He was CFO at USA until his retirement in 1998.
Mundy graduated in 1956 from Princeton University where he majored in economics and in 1961 from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration with an MBA. Mundy spent many years volunteering in Rotary where he was recognized as a multiple Paul Harris Fellow. He is also remembered as a caring, gentle, and honorable man with a passion for life and thirst for adventure. He will always be revered as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who’s selfless acts of kindness remind us that we make a life by what we give. Mundy’s honorable character and sense of humility demanded love and respect from all who knew him. As a loving father to his children and grandchildren and mentor to countless of others, Mundy taught perseverance and courage through his actions and the importance of discipline with mercy and grace.
Mundy is survived by his loving wife of 51 years; his children, Mundy Ingalls Peale III, Lalon Crawford Peale, and Danielle Peale Rook; grandchildren, Mundy I. Peale IV, Jon Peale, Hannah Rook, Hunter Rook, Hayden Rook, Holden Rook, and Julia Jane Peale and sisters, Sandra Farwell Eike and Betsey Peale Hardman.
Mundy was preceded in death by his father, Mundy Ingalls Peale, former president of the Republic Aviation Corporation; mother, Betsey Farwell Peale; and sister, Georgia (Dickey) Sansone.

THELMA JEAN ODLE KEMPLIN
DENTON — Funeral services for Thelma Jean Odle Kemplin, 88, of Denton will be Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Denton Church of Christ with Dr. John Barton and Terry Collins officiating.
Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Valley View. Funeral services are under the direction of Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors of Denton.
Thelma Jean Odle Kemplin died Thursday, July 9, 2009 at her residence.
She is survived by her daughter, Constance Jean Kemplin Peters of Lockhart; sons, Perry W. Kemplin III of Honolulu, Hawaii, Keith L. Kemplin of Bellingham Wash. and Martin G. Kemplin of Denton; sister, Mary Harris of Abilene and brothers, Louis Odle of Kerrville and Dennis Odle of Houston.
Visitation will be Friday, July 10, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors.
JAMES RAY “SONNY” TEMPLIN
Memorial services for James Ray “Sonny” Templin, 58, of Gainesville will be at DFW National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home in Carrolton.
James Ray “Sonny” Templin died Thursday, July 2, 2009. He was born Feb. 10, 1951.
Survivors include his spouse, Brenda Templin of Lake Dallas; son, James Templin Jr. of Gainesville and Richard Templin of Gainesville; step-son, David Chapman of Gainesville and step-daughter, Kerry Kinsey of Gainesville; sisters, Glenda Burgan of Gainesville and Judy Yancy of Lake Dallas.
