TOMMY LAMAR CARR
MULDROW, Okla. — Services for Tommy Lamar Carr, 71, of Muldrow, Okla., formerly of Gainesville, are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Wright and Chaplain Sam Spence officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville.
Mr. Carr died Aug. 22, 2008, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 29, 1936 in Gainesville to Yerbie Benton and Annie Mae Clark Carr. On April 30, 1955 he married Glenda Liedtke. Tommy attended Gainesville public schools and loved and was active in all sports. One of his great loves was race horses and he was an accomplished trainer for over 40 years. He still loved and enjoyed watching his horse until the time of his death.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Glenda Carr of Muldrow, Okla.; daughters, Patti Reed of Gainesville; Vicki Pipes of Denton; sons, Doug Carr; and Tommy Glen Carr, both of Muldrow, Okla; grandchildren, Tonya Townley and her husband, Jeremy; great-grandchildren, Jase and Bryce Townley of Gainesville; grandchild, Tracy Holman and children, Crislyn and Trinity of Gainesville; grandchild, Tammi Ford and her husband, Michael of Denton and children, Madalyn, Mason and Braedon; grandchild, Carla Dennis and her husband, Danny and children, Karlee and Haylee of Denton; grandsons, Joel Alan Proctor of Tahlequah, Okla., and Kale Thomas Carr of Jones, Okla.; several cousins, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by brother, Rodger (Spunky) Carr and his wife, Jean; sister-in-law, Joan Fife of Pittsburg, Okla.; brothers-in-law, Ronald Liedtke and his wife, Jan of Tyler and Donald Liedtke and his wife, Robyn of Dallas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Y.G. (Jiggs) Carr and Randy (Hoot) Carr.
Pallbearers are Chris Rogers, Herbie Locke, Harvey Kitchens, Doug Gaston, George Morgan and Doug Mitchell.
Honorary pallbearers are Hubert Blankenship, Bill Dale, Tom Callen, Jack Palmer, Eddie Rutherford, Robert Dimitt and Ken Kelly.
Visitation will be at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.

Services for Alejandro Gonzales of Gainesville are pending with the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville.

GEORGE W. GILBREATH
Graveside services for George W. Gilbreath, 52, of Gainesville are set for 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25 at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Huffman officiating. Masonic rites will be conducted by the Gainesville Lodge #210, AF AM.
Mr. Gilbreath died August 22, 2008 at his residence.
He was born Dec. 27, 1955 in Gainesville to George C. and Anna Jean Foster Gilbreath.
He graduated from Gainesville High School and was a self-employed electrician. He was a member of Gainesville Lodge #210 AF AM and was a member of a Baptist church.
Survivors include his parents, George and Anna Jean Gilbreath of Gainesville; daughter, Jori Gilbreath of Gainesville; and son, Jordan Gilbreath of Gainesville.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sheila Gail.
