DANITA DAY
Danita “Danny” Day, 76, a resident of Grand Prairie, passed away August 25, 2008, in Arlington with her loving family by her side. She was born January 22, 1932 in Gainesville. Danny was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Dalton Day and grandson, Brian. Survived by 2 Sons, Larry Day and wife Dianne of Gainesville, and Mike Day and wife Cathy of Arlington; Daughter, Janie Day of Gainesville; Grandchildren, Damon Simpson, Rachel, Sarah, and Michael Jr.; Loving sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Ray Hott of Gainesville; Several nieces and nephews whom she loved very much and 2 Great Grandchildren. Visitation is set from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home in Grand Prairie. Funeral Service is set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Bean-Massey-Burge Chapel in Grand Prairie; Interment will be in Flower Mound Cemetery in Flower Mound, Texas.

MARLENE L. WALKER
COLLEYVILLE — Marlene L. Walker, 77, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008.
Funeral is set for 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation is set from 6 to 8 p.m. Wedneday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
She was born April 8, 1931, in Oklahoma to Glennis and Viola McGehee. She owned and operated Marlene’s Interiors and the Goodie Shoppe in the Mid-Cities area for over 20 years.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Walker of Colleyville; daughters and son-in-law, Glenna and Bill Garrison of Idaho and Judy A. Ford of Texas/Nevada; brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Carolyn McGehee of Bedford; step-daughters, Laura Davoudi of Michigan and Debbie Walker of Azle; two nieces; one nephew; sister-in-law, Lea Rae McGehee of Fort Worth; one great-niece; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Harold McGehee.

ALEJANDRO GONZALES
Services for Alejandro Gonzales, 81, of Gainesville are set for 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Don Brennan, O.S.A., officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville.
Mr. Gonzales died Aug. 23, 2008, at his residence.
He was born May 5, 1927, in Houston to Evaristo and Bernada Gonzales. On Aug. 4, 1945, he married Herminia Mendez. He was a retired employee of the City of Gainesville.
Survivors include his 14 children; 56 grandchildren; and 140 great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Herminia Gonzales on May 1, 2007; and by a granddaughter.
