DANITA DAY
Danita “Danny” Day, 76, a resident of Grand Prairie, died Aug. 25, 2008, in Arlington.
She was born Jan. 22, 1932, in Gainesville.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Dalton Day; and a grandson.
Survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Dianne Day of Gainesville, and Mike and Cathy Day of Arlington; daughter, Janie Day of Gainesville; four grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Ray Hott of Gainesville; several nieces and nephews; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service is set for 2 p.m. today at Bean-Massey-Burge Chapel in Grand Prairie. Interment will be in Flower Mound Cemetery in Flower Mound.

ALEJANDRO GONZALES
Services for Alejandro Gonzales, 81, of Gainesville are set for 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Don Brennan, O.S.A., officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville.
Mr. Gonzales died Aug. 23, 2008, at his residence.
He was born May 5, 1927, in Houston to Evaristo and Bernada Gonzales. On Aug. 4, 1945, he married Herminia Mendez. He was a retired employee of the City of Gainesville.
Survivors include his 14 children; 56 grandchildren; and 140 great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Herminia Gonzales on May 1, 2007; and by a granddaughter.
