KAREN RODGERS MURRELL

SADLER – Funeral services for Karen Rodgers Murrell, 68, of Sadler will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009 at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro. Brother Larry Blain of the Southmayd Baptist Church, Brother Rowland Owlett from East Sherman Baptist Church and Roy Duff will officiate.

Interment will follow in Sadler Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Meador Funeral Home.

Karen Rodgers Murrell passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009 at her home in Sadler after a brief and unfair fight with cancer.

She is survived by her husband of the home; a daughter, Patti Sammons Sadler; sons, Jeffrey Perkins of Sadler, Randy Perkins of Leonard and Danny Perkins of Gunter; step-children, Yvonne Murrell of Utica, Ohio, and Keith Murrell of Columbus, Ohio; brother, James Rodgers of Whitesboro and sisters, Lois Sellers of Sadler and Samye Ballard of Whitesboro.

Family night will be held from 6-7 p.m. this evening, Oct. 9, 2009 at the funeral home.

OLLIE B. BURGIN

DENISON — Funeral services for Ollie B. Burgin, 96, of Denison will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Ron Cunningham officiating.

Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home.

Mr. Burgin passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.

Survivors include his son, Butch Burgin Jr. of Duncanville and children of Mary Davis Burgin, Jerry Davis and Dean Davis.

Visitation was last night from 7-8 p.m., October 8, 2009 at the funeral home.
