AL BENGFORT

LINDSAY — Funeral arrangements for Al Bengfort, 84, of Lindsay are pending with the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.





SYBIL JANE DAVIDSON MCADEN

BRIDGEPORT — Funeral services for Sybil Jane Davidson McAden, 92, of Bridgeport, are set for 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2009 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jordan Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Gordonville Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Ms. McAden passed away Monday, Oct. 19, 2009 in Bridgeport.

She was born to Frances Hugh and Mary E. Johnson Davidson in Willis, Okla. on Feb. 15, 1917, the third of five children. They returned to Texas by the time she was two-years old and she considers herself a Texan.

She married Harold William McAden on Oct. 12, 1935. She was employed by Linda Jo Shoe Factory and Weber Aircraft for many years. She was an officer and color bearer for the Elm Creek Rebekah Lodge No. 6. She was an avid gardener, fantastic southern cook, storyteller, listener, and humorist. Most of all, she was a friend. We were all truly blessed to have her in our lives.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Dorothy McAden of Tempe, Ariz.; daughter and son-in-law, Marybeth and Millard Thomas of Denton; son, Harold Wayne McAden of Bridgeport; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Betty McAden of Colorado Springs, Colo.; daughter, Patsy McAden of Decatur and daughter, Brenda Lou McAden Aguilar of Denton. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 25 great- grandchildren; her sister, Christine Franklin of Richardson and her brother, Joe Davidson of Ardmore, Okla.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Hugh Davidson and her sister, Kitty Meeks.

A visitation will be held this evening, October 22, from 7-8 p.m. and on Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

MARIE ELIZABETH BECKER HUNDT

Mass of Christian Burial for Marie Elizabeth Becker Hundt is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009 at Sacred Heart Church in Muenster. Fr. Ken Robinson will officiate.

Burial will follow the funeral mass at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Services are directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Muenster.

Marie Hundt died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009 at Denton Regional Medical Center.

Marie was born May 11, 1920 to William and Elizabeth Knabe Becker in Muenster. She was raised in Muenster and attended Sacred Heart Catholic School. She married Herbert A. Hundt at Sacred Heart Church on Oct. 24, 1939. They lived on a farm in Myra and later on a farm near Lindsay. Marie and Herbert moved to Dallas in 1955 where Herbert worked in commercial refrigeration. When Herbert retired in 1980, they moved back to Muenster.

Marie loved playing cards. She also enjoyed the company of her children and all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren in her later years. She resided at St. Richard's Villa the last 18 months of her life.

Survivors include daughter and spouse, Joan and Leonard Haverkamp of Muenster; sons and spouses, David and Mary Hundt of The Colony, James and Ella Hundt of Midlothian, Giles Hundt of Muenster, Herbert Hundt Jr. of Dallas; 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Preceded in death by husband, Herbert Anthony Hundt on July 29, 1986 and brothers, Werner Becker and Martin Becker.

Pallbearers are Dwayne Haverkamp, Gene Haverkamp, Herbert Hundt Jr., Jason Hundt, Michael Hundt and Bart Hundt.

A Rosary/Vigil service is set for 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.





ELEANORE L. CESANDER

April 23, 1924 - Oct. 17, 2009

Eleanore L. Cesander, born April 23, 1924 in Mobridge, S.D. was the youngest child of Joseph and Clellie Peden. In 1942 she graduated from Aberdeen High School in Aberdeen, S.D. She attended Northern State Teachers College in Aberdeen and went on to teach elementary school. In 1944, she enrolled in the U.S. Navy and served as a Hospital Apprentice First Class. She received an honorable discharge after WWII. In 1945, and during her service time, she married Paul K. Cesander. At that time, Paul was an officer in the Navy.

After college, Eleanore and Paul both taught school in Marietta, Minn. Later, and with the birth of their first child, Eleanore became a full-time homemaker. Eleanore and Paul had three boys, David, Larry and Steven. Steven (1985) and Paul (2003) proceeded her in death.

With Paul's career, the family lived in Sioux Falls, S.D., Minneapolis, Minn. Omaha, Neb. Richardson and Fairfax, Va. In 1978, Paul retired and the couple moved to Lake Kiowa, building a home on the 18th fairway. In 2007, Eleanore moved to The Corinthians in Carrollton, where she resided at the time of her death.

Eleanore was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Gainesville and a loving friend to many.

She is survived by her two sons, David Cesander of Carrollton and Larry Cesander of N. Grafton, Mass.; daughter-in-laws, Judy and Patty Lynn; four grandchildren, Angela, Mark, Garrett, and Abby; a sister-in-law, Harriet Price of Sacramento, Calif.

Also preceding her in death were five siblings, Ethel Peden, Joseph (Buddy) Peden, Emmet Peden, Warren Peden, and Helen (Peden) Danielson.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009 at Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas. After graveside services, a reception for family and friends will be held at the main funeral building. Services are under the direction of Restland Funeral Home. Visitation is scheduled for this evening, October 21, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at Restland's Main Chapel Building.
