Funeral arrangements for Curt Henderson, 30, are pending with the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
CHARLIE LINKS
Funeral services for Charlie W. Links, 86, of Gainesville are set for Monday, Nov. 2 at 10 a.m. in the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Chapel with the Rev. David Whittington officiating.
Burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
Charlie was born on June 9, 1923 in Rosston to Jesse and Vernon Links. He worked at several places until he was employed by Central Freight Lines where he retired after 31 years. On Oct. 9,1943 he married Virginia Ware of Woodbine. He enjoyed watching football and the Texas Rangers Baseball. Charlie was always looking for new ball caps to add to his collection.
Charlie is survived by the six boys and four girls he raised, including Glenn and Terrie Links of Arizona, Ricky Links of Woodbine, Mark and Carol Links of Frisco, Terry and Debbie Wood Links of Irving, Cody Links of Sherman and Justin Links of Sherman; daughters, Billie and Francis Wiesman of Converse, Shirley Welch of Justin, Wanda Links of McKinney and Sherry and Ron Hageman of Grapevine and sisters, Lorene Caulfield of California, Maxine Colston of Oklahoma and Imogene Smith of Gainesville. Charlie has 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Vernon Links; a brother, Jessie Links and sister, Wanda Ruth Links.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

DAVID ANTHONY FORGEY
DALLAS — David Anthony Forgey of Dallas passed away on Oct. 6, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Ollie Forgey of Dallas; daughters, Mary Lee Coffey of Rowlett, Gretchen Forgey of Austin and Suzanne Forgey-Hocevar of Denton; son, Chris Forgey of Trophy Club and sisters, Winifred King of Plantation, Fla. and Sister Mary Jond (Edna) Berchmans, O.S.U. of Pueblo, Mexico.
Funeral Mass was held Monday, Oct. 12 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Dallas. Burial followed at Calvery Hill Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation and rosary were held Sunday, Oct. 11 at Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral Home in Dallas.
Services were under the direction of Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home and Cemetery.
