CLARA PEARL FORTENBERRY
Funeral services for Clara Pearl Fortenberry, 89, of Gainesville are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home in Gainesville, with Rev. Don Yeager officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville. Services are under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home
Mrs. Fortenberry died on Saturday Nov. 14, 2009 at the Renaissance Care Center.
Pearl was born in Slidell on July 11, 1920. She was the sixth of 10 children of Robert and Virtie Cogburn. She married W. W. (Budd) Stinnett in 1941. They had three children, Wilson, Richard and Sharon. Pearl married Ross Fortenberry in 1974. Pearl loved God, her family and her friends. She will be dearly missed by all.
She is survived by Wilson and Stella Stinnett of Gainesville; her daughter, Sharon Stinnett of Lewisville; daughter-in-law, Bobbie Stinnett Guillot of Texarkana; grandchildren, Pam Hoedebeck, Ron Stinnett, Barbie Stinnett and Zach Stinnett and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Budd in 1969; her husband, Ross Fortenberry in 1993 and her son, Richard Stinnett in 2001.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Pearl Fortenberry to the American Diabetes Assoc.
Visitation is set for from 7-8 p.m. this evening, Nov. 16, 2009 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
FRANK BEYER
Funeral Mass for Frank Beyer is set for Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Centennial Hall in Lindsay.
Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
Mr. Beyer passed away on Nov. 14, 2009.
Frank was born on May 26, 1925 in Gainesville to Adam and Mary Loerwald Beyer and he was a member of St. Peters Church.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Beyer; sons, Glen and Ricky Beyer; daughters, Sharon Covington, Judy Secrest, Debbie Sandmann and Janelle Shannon..
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. with visitation to follow on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Chapel.
ALICE MARIE ROBERTS
Funeral services for Alice Marie Roberts, 68, of Gainesville will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 16, 2009 at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Hollis Parsons officiating.
Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Collinsville. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home.
Alice passed away on Friday, Nov. 13, 2009 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
Survivors include her children, Tony Roberts of Gainesville, Mitchell “Scott” Roberts of Benton, Ark., Carla Noble and of Saint Jo, Jill Trahan of Collinsville, and Amy Woods of Collinsville; two brothers, Randy Wooten of Sherman, and Bill Wooten of Callisburg and sisters, Betty Roberts of Sherman, Joyce Hood of Tioga, Peggy Shaw of Gainesville, Shirley Arrington of Callisburg, Glenda Hurd of Gainesville, Patsy Wright of Whitesboro and Vickie Tischler of Whitesboro.
Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009 at the funeral home.

O. BARR MCKEE, JR.
July 2, 1945 – Nov. 13, 2009
COLLINSVILLE — Funeral services for O. Barr McKee, Jr., 64, of Collinsville will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Collinsville with Rev. Jerry Davis officiating.
Interment will follow in Collinsville Cemetery with military honors. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.
Barr McKee passed away Nov. 13, 2009 at his home in Collinsville, Texas. He was born July 2, 1945 in Splanger, Pa. to Orville and Margaret McKee. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Army where he served in the special forces during the Vietnam War, receiving a Purple Heart. He was a disabled Vietnam Veteran and owned Red River Garage Door. He was of the Baptist Faith.
He was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a stranger to no one, because of his contagious laugh and outgoing personality. He touched many lives and made many friends. He certainly knew how to live life to its fullest. He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed by many.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Brenda McKee; two sons, Benny McKee and wife Kim of Collinsville and Tad McKee of Little Elm; grandchildren, Brandi and Brook McKee of Van Alstyne, Sarah McKee of Pilot Point, Melvin and Summer Cantrell of Alvord and Josh McKee; great-grandchildren, Bryce and Brody Cantrell of Alvord; two sisters, June Jones and husband Charles of Sunset and Dotty Hale and husband, Don of Little Elm and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Chris McKee; a daughter, Dina McKee; his parents, Orville Barr, Sr. and Margaret McKee; and two brothers, Jimmy and Richard McKee.
Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. on this evening, Nov. 16, 2009 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are members of the Collinsville Fire Department.
Honorary pallbearers are Lloyd Hamill, Gerald Hallmark, Larry Sparkman and Jerry Britt.
