CHRISTINE SMITH

DALLAS — Funeral services are pending for Christine Smith of Dallas, and formerly of Muenster, with McCoy Funeral Home of Muenster.

Ms. Smith died at 10:54 p.m. at Methodist Charlton Hospital in Dallas.

VALLEY VIEW — Funeral arrangements for Gene R. Pearce 46, of Valley View are pending with the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.



JOE RANDLE “TOAD” RISNER

WHITESBORO — Funeral services for Joe Randle Risner, 77, of Whitesboro will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009 at the Flesher Funeral Chapel in Van Alstyne with Benny Risner and Brenda Smith officiating.

Interment will follow at Coffman Cemetery in Anna. Services are under the direction of Flesher Funeral Home.

Joe Randle Risner passed away Monday, Nov. 16, 2009 in Denison.

He was born on Dec. 1, 1931 in Howe to Henry and Myrtle (Bradshaw) Risner. He married Frances Lurlene Lane on May 21, 1949 in Anna. He worked for Burlington Industries and Cooke County.

Joe is survived by his wife, Frances Risner of Whitesboro; daughters, Rita Williams and husband, Larry of Sherman and Brenda Smith and husband, Ronnie of Denison; sons, Randle Risner and wife, Linda of Gainesville and Benny Risner of Houston; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and sisters, Faye Patrick, Mary Inge and Ruthie Pearson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather; brothers, Autry Atkins and Albert Risner and sisters, Francis Crawford and Ruby Bridges.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. this evening, Nov. 18, 2009 at Flesher Funeral Home.

TOMMY BEATRICE LEE

Graveside services for Tommy Beatrice Lee, 94, of Gainesville are set for 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009 at Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sunray.

Mrs. Tommy Beatrice Lee died Nov. 15, 2009 at Gainesville Health and Rehabilitation.

Survivors include her daughters, Vada Glascock of Valley View, Linda Stallings of Lockney, Sharon Thompson of Valley View and Julia Ainsworth of Del City and son, Jerry Lee of Sunray.

Visitation is set from 12-1:30 p.m. Thursday at Morrison Chapel in Sunray prior to service time.

SHERMAN – Funeral Services for Loreta Nowlin Bowden, 81, of Sherman will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Dr. Mike Lawson officiating.

Interment will follow in Dixie Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home.

Loreta passed away on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009 at her residence in Sherman.

Survivors include a sister, Ruby Summers of Melissa and a step-son, Billy Wayne Nowlin of Mansfield.

Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. this evening, Nov. 18, 2009 at the funeral home.
